Our editorial standards
Every NIMOGAMING article aims to be accurate, useful and honest about risk. We write for adults 21+ in the Philippines, Malaysia and across Asia, and we separate advice clearly where the law differs between countries. We never promise wins, never invent RTP figures, licence numbers, statistics or quotes, and never suggest ways around local law. Learn more about who we are on our About us page.
How articles are researched
Each topic starts with a reader question: How do wagering requirements work? Is this site legitimate? What does the law say? We then gather information from primary and reputable sources, including:
- Regulators such as PAGCOR in the Philippines and Singapore's Gambling Regulatory Authority, plus official legislation summaries for Malaysia.
- Financial and privacy authorities such as the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and the National Privacy Commission.
- Testing and responsible gaming bodies such as independent game-testing labs and problem gambling support organisations.
- Hands-on testing by our lead writer with small personal budgets, covering sign-up, KYC, payments and terms.
Our legal guide and safety checklist are built directly on this research.
AI-assisted drafting: our disclosure
We use AI writing tools to help research outlines and produce first drafts. We say this openly because readers deserve to know. AI drafts are a starting point only. They are never published without human review, and AI is never treated as a source of facts. Any claim about law, licensing, payments or game mechanics must be confirmed against an official or reputable source before it stays in an article.
Human review by Roland Dee
Every article is reviewed, fact-checked and edited by our founder and lead writer, Roland Dee. He checks accuracy, removes anything speculative, adds hands-on observations, and makes sure each guide includes responsible gaming messaging and links to our responsible gaming resources. If something cannot be verified, it is cut or clearly described as general information.
Freshness and review schedule
Online gaming rules, payment methods and platform features change often. That is why:
- Every article shows a visible "Last updated" date.
- Every article is reviewed at least every 90 days, and sooner when a law, regulator notice or major platform change affects it.
- Pages such as the game lobby guide and FAQ are refreshed when our guides change.
Corrections policy
We make mistakes sometimes, and we would rather fix them fast than hide them. If you spot an error, email the page link and details through our contact page. We review every report, correct confirmed errors promptly and update the "Last updated" date. Significant corrections, such as a change in legal status, are noted in the article itself.
Affiliate independence
NIMOGAMING earns affiliate commissions from our partner platform. Commercial relationships never decide what we say about laws, risks, bonuses or game odds. Partners cannot edit or approve our articles, and we will remove a recommendation if a platform stops meeting our standards. Read our full affiliate disclosure and disclaimer.
Image sourcing
We use real photos of people and places from Wikimedia Commons, under their open licences, rather than AI-generated images. Each photo is credited with its author and licence on our image credits page. Captions describe what is shown and do not imply that anyone pictured endorses NIMOGAMING.
