1. Who is responsible for your data
NIMOGAMING (nimogaming.my) is an independent information and affiliate website for adults 21+ in the Philippines, Malaysia and Asia. For the purposes of this policy, NIMOGAMING is the personal information controller (Philippines) and data user (Malaysia) for the limited data described below. Our founder, Roland Dee, handles privacy questions and can be reached at roland.dee@nimogaming.my.
We aim to comply with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines and its implementing rules, and with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). This policy should be read together with our cookie policy and terms and conditions.
2. What we collect
NIMOGAMING is a simple, static website. At launch we have no user accounts, no sign-up or comment forms, no newsletter and no tracking cookies set by the site itself. The data we may process is limited to:
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, we receive your email address, name (if you give it), the content of your message and any attachments.
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically records technical data when any web page is requested, such as IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type, device type, referring page and approximate location derived from the IP.
- Affiliate click redirect data. When you click a "Play" button, you pass through a redirect on our site before reaching our partner platform. That request is logged like any other page request (time, IP, browser, referring page). We do not attach your name or email to it.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, such as health, religious or financial account details. Please do not send it to us.
3. Why we use it
- To read and reply to your message, corrections, feedback or partnership enquiries sent through our contact page.
- To keep the website running, secure and fast, and to detect abuse, bots or attacks.
- To understand, in aggregate, how many people click through to partner platforms, which is needed for affiliate reporting as explained in our affiliate disclosure.
- To meet legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Legal bases
Under the Data Privacy Act and the PDPA, we rely on:
- Consent, when you choose to email us and share information;
- Legitimate interests, such as keeping the site secure and measuring affiliate clicks, balanced against your rights;
- Legal obligation, where a law or a lawful order requires us to keep or disclose data.
You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us. This does not affect processing already done.
5. Who we share data with
- Hosting provider: Vercel hosts the site and processes server logs on our behalf under its own privacy and security terms.
- Email provider: messages you send are stored by our email service provider.
- Partner platforms: once you click through and leave NIMOGAMING, the partner platform collects its own data (for example, sign-up details, KYC documents and cookies). That processing is governed by the partner's privacy policy, not ours. Read it before you register, and see our safety checklist for tips on spotting trustworthy sites.
- Authorities: only where required by law or a valid order.
6. How long we keep it
- Emails: up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless needed longer for a legal reason.
- Server and redirect logs: kept by our hosting provider for a limited period according to its standard retention settings, typically days to a few weeks.
- Aggregated, anonymous statistics (for example, total click counts) may be kept longer because they do not identify anyone.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- be informed about how your data is processed (this policy);
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erasure or blocking of data that is no longer needed or was processed unlawfully;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent;
- data portability, where applicable; and
- complain to a regulator.
To use any of these rights, email roland.dee@nimogaming.my. We will reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the National Privacy Commission in the Philippines or the Personal Data Protection Commissioner in Malaysia.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, has no login areas and stores no personal data in a database. Our email account is protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and access is limited to the editor. No system is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending passwords, ID documents or banking details by email. Our mobile play guide and payments guide include tips on protecting your own accounts.
9. Minors
NIMOGAMING is for adults 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has contacted us, tell us and we will delete the information. Parents can find device-control tips on our responsible gaming page.
10. International transfers
Our hosting and email providers may store or process data on servers outside the Philippines and Malaysia, for example in Singapore, the United States or the European Union. Where this happens, we rely on providers that offer appropriate contractual and technical safeguards, as expected under the Data Privacy Act and the PDPA.
11. Changes to this policy
If we add new features, such as a newsletter, contact form or analytics, we will update this policy and our cookie policy before they go live, and change the effective date. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
12. Contact
